Attorney's Fees.

We represent our clients on a contingency fee basis. A contingency fee is a fee that the lawyer earns only if he/she recovers money for you. If there is no recovery there is no fee. The fee is a percentage of the recovery. We charge a 1/3 (33.33%) contingency fee, meaning that if we recover for you, we receive 33.33% of and from the recovery. If we file a lawsuit for you, the fee increases only 1.67% to 35.00%. The advantage to a contingency fee is that the client does not have to pay any money to hire us. The only items that a client would have to pay for are "costs". However, costs are only incurred with your prior consent. Typical costs are the court filing fee (between $120 and $275 depending on the court), medical record fees, court reporter fees, expert fees and expenses, and investigation search fees.
